Blimey, I didn't spot that one. Tony Adams wasn't a surprise but another big pay off for Abrahomovich. Maybe the players should carry the blame unless all the managers are rubbish;)

I think the only one suprised about Adams getting the sack was Adams himself. I really think that clubs / managers should only be able to part company in the close season as it does become a bit of a joke.

Well that's ruthless, but their justification on the website is fair enough. Please lord don't bring back Avram Grant, we really don't want him again!!

I don't think it's a coincidence that the most successful football club in the premier league is the one with the longest serving manager.

Guus Hiddink. Bear in mind that Abramovitch virtually owns the Russian national team. But, yes, rich p - you are absolutely right. Abramovitch, if he has any self-awareness whatsoever, must be kicking himself. And, in the meantime, Mourinho seems to be planning his next move - to Manchester United.

...or more likely, Man City;)

The only reason Mark Hughes is still in place is because they cannot think of any top line manager so foolish as to take it.....wait a minute! Hasn't Scolari just become available? Welcome back Jo, and hello Kaka!
