Its feasible you might get another bike 'up yer Chuff' resulting in the skewer being opened.

OK that's a possibility - I'd imagine it would be more troublesome for the impactor than the impactee though (front vs rear)
I'll probably go vertical / seatstay-aligned on the rear then.
