The oldest coins that I have, all from 1958 my year of birth are, a farthing, ha'penny, penny, thruppeny bit, sixpence, shilling, florin, half crown and a ten bob note. I also have three of the last pound notes that were issued, but none of the coins or the notes are worth anything other than sentimental.

I'm serious, we have 10 and it must have been either from one of the banks in Bluewater or from Marks and Sparks in Bluewater. No date. My son discovered it, I'd never have even bothered looking.

It seems you have about a grands worth there then?

no think there worth a bit more than 60p
as we can see the link at the start of this thread shows one sold for £96

put em on gaybay one at a time..........they are going for £100 apparently.

There are a few on there at the moment.....the trouble is, once loads start appearing, the price will fall....get in there early!!!
