Cheapi(ish) treadmills....anyone tried one?

I've a cross trainer in my garage gathering dust but I'm a long way from Cheshire. It weighs 78kg which appears to put a lot of people off picking it up. Would have thought the exercise would have been good for them. Became surplus when I got a new bike.
