Cheapest way to post a frame ?

I just tried them and the box is only just too big, and I'm too honest to tell fibs!

As you know the sum of the three dimensions has to be no more than 225cm officially. Can you cut down the box to achieve that? IME they are by far the cheapest (even including insurance which removes worries regarding reliability etc.) and they are easy to use.
