Cheap power bank to Charge Garmins/Phones

Can you actually use these while a unit is still running,such as a light?

The instructions with my Lezyne rechargeable light say do not switch it on while charging.

I've heard of some Garmins that don't seem to like working on the bike while being charged, but Garmins are notoriously buggy.

Going back to your question about lights, seems to me running a light while charging it may shorten its life or damage it in some other way, or it might not.

I think it's something best avoided, unless it's an emergency and the alternative is no light.
