I have these on both my bikes. Useful on shared paths. Nice quality & well-made. Cheap bells break very easily.

A bell looks crap on almost any bike. I bought one of these below which I can just about get away with on the MTB. Cheap (ish), loud and doesn't make a sound even when hitting rought terrain fast.

I have a bell on one of my bikes mounted on the rear face of the head tube (ie inside the frame) It's a handy place. I keep meaning to get one for my main bike, but it's not that high on my to do list. Under the stem is an idea ...
