I'm aiming for the 5am Victoria train (changing Hove, Brighton & Hastings, scheduled arrival at Ashford 8.20 but I'd ride the last bit anyway). If the train into Hastings runs to time, I'll only have four minutes to make the connection there & another hour to wait if I don't. Plan B is to ride in from Hastings. Only 30 miles & nearly two and a half hours to do it....

Having missed the connection at Hastings, I rode on to Rye. Now on the train into Ashford, arrives 9.20. I would have ridden all the way but it would have been after ten & I wasn't going to keep people waiting.

I'm. Here by the bus stop at Ashford intl, there is a Brompton dock but no cyclists, is there another meeting point
