I think Kirkland is Costco's own brand, so it's likely've been a large collection from Costco of stuff that's near its sell by date and then been a distribution mistake to have left all of them in one box which has then been sent out in error. When volunteers are in a rush to get urgent parcels out you can see how it's happened..
