I use vas mostly but it's a bugger to get the residue off your hands after applying. I'm sure my dogs think treats smell of vaseline these days...

Another vote for vaseline from me. I don't put it on for every ride but only if I get a sweat rash or similar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

will give vas a try as you can buy a bucket full for £13 the price of the assos stuff

I've not used vas but did go in with assos stuff....really impressed with it....quality over quantity...? ;-)

Used direct on the undercarriage rather than the chamios itself....assos stuff seems to have a slight warming sensation which I'm sure vas won't (thank fully not in the veet for men way I hasten to add - if you don't know what I mean just look up veet for men on Amazon and read the reviews!)

I tend not to bother on rides of less than 300 miles.

On rides of 300 miles I would need more than chamois cream, I would need an engine

Assos for me, washes off ok too in the shower afterwards. Slap it all over my chin rest!
