I used to have one of these, best tool i had 35 years ago, fantastic bit of kit this was, it did motor bike chains as well, never seen one since and never knew where i went.

Andrew, I have your chain tool, its now rusty, and in my bike shed, I often wonder where it came from.
was going to attach picture, but cant work out how too
I have only just found out, expected chain life for a 10 speed chain is less then 3000 miles, I've ridden 4000 on my 'new tourer' and now need new transmission! and cant find where to by a 7 speed set up, as I have no intention of replacing a chain every 2 months.
