chain swap 11 speed Ultegra

Have decided on the KMC chain but it comes in 114/118 link sizes - will either be ok (11 speed ultegra ) ?

That will be plenty long enough. All chains have to be cut to size.

Count the links in your existing chain. I discovered I needed 116 on mine after trying to fit the 114 link std length chain. I ran the short chain until my longer one arrived.

Would depend how big your cassette is and if you're running a standard or compact.Just get the biggest and cut it down.

Those extra two sets of links are disproportionately expensive!!!

Maybe they are but they my put @kingrollo mild at rest having a bit of extra leeway.
Simple enough to cut down to the right length.
