Is there any decent alternatives to Chain Reaction Cycles?

I had some tyres on order with them which were not in stock... Expected 06/02/11 which I was ok with.

Yesterday I rung them as the due date had changed on the website to the 23rd asking about alternatives I could swap to as I didn't want to wait that long... but they were really rude about it, so I cancelled the order.

Now I'm looking through Google for a alternative store and I'm not finding anything like them.

Must have been an off-day at CRC, they've always been brilliant with me.
+1 for Wiggle.

CRC have always been ok for me.

SJS, Spa Cycles, PX/On One and PBK are all good.

I have always found CRC very good , better than wiggle usually for speed and price.

I have had to contact them as well about brake pads that are out of stock.

As other have said there are plenty of good places.

+1 for highonbikes, next day delivery and a lot cheaper than any other store.

Of those mentioned above, I've used Wiggle, CRC and HighOnBikes and all have been great. A lot of LBS are now trading via eBay, so it's always worth a look there.

I've also used Winstanleys and found them to be excellent, but I know a few people have had bad experiences with them. All their stock is either available in "24 hours" or "2-7 days". If it's the former it'll be despatched straight away, if it's the latter then don't even think about ordering it.

Chainreaction have allways been good with me in fairness.

Spa cycles are very good for tyres, and very competitively priced. Marathon + for £21 plus £3 postage.

CRC have been fine for my needs also, must have been an off day or a clash.

Most of the other stores I have used are listed by the posts above but if I had to recommend a close alternative I would choose PBK.
