if so how is it packaged to you?
are chain reaction cycles any good?

Chain reaction cycles are considered to be good as suppliers but do keep an eye on your card statements, from time to time people suffer from card fraud, chain reaction cycles being the only link between the people affected.

I got done by CRC, had my card details cloned. I had to cancel my card and wait for a new one to turn up. I have never used them again. Avoid.

Poor choice of words I think, I'd imagine it wasn't CRC that did you over.

Just use paypal - simples

i was planning on using the paypal payment option.
the bike is a cube agree sl 2011 50cm

thought the card fraud problem was due to website security hole that has been sorted now, since it happened months ago.

CRC had ongoing problems but fessed up a few months back when the problem was solved. Are you saying that the fraud problem continues today?

I don't trust paypal above other sites. Too many websites fell victim to trust any.

Further more, does anyone understand Paypal terms and conditions and does the Consumer Credit Act apply to the goods you are buying or the transfer of money service?

I wont be put off, will use a credit card in future. I have always found their service to be excellent. I hope they have it sorted.

Bought some bits from CRC last week! And also bought from them in May 2011, and July 2011. No problems I telephone my order and use a debit card.

My CC has never been defrauded, touch wood and I've used CRC plenty of times. A while back wiggle was also having a problem I guess it just a case of being cautious, PayPal helps

Never use a debit card to pay for transactions you are not afforded the same protection as a credit card - Credit card at all times if you dont trust the site and they have a paypal option use that as paying with paypal the buyer has more protection than the seller and yes the consumer credit act applies also

Just to clarify

There have been problems in the past with CRC customers cards being cloned

I know of NO current issues
