Could everyone I know kindly refrain from getting married or dying as my suit doesnt fit now and I spent the money on bike gear instead:biggrin:.

Since March I have worked my way down through the BMI Obese range into and right through the overweight range and am now as of 0630 today just at the top end of the ideal weight range.

Looking in the mirror tells me I still have a little way to go I wont know my target until I get there now but probably between half and one stone to go.

Good Luck to everyone else shedding the flab.

Well done Banjo, it takes a lot of hard work and will power.

I only started keeping records of my bike rides about 6 weeks ago....... and I have put ON about 3 pounds!!

Well done.

Forget the new suit though, spend the money on more cycling gear:smile: You can always attend the weddings & funerals in your lycra:laugh:

Terrific achievement. I hope you aren't the only person that appreciates your new body!

I am thinking you should be able to buy that suit on the savings from fewer rear wheel rebuilds

Your muscles are toning & building up Brandane to cope with the Cycling. Muscle weighs more then fat. Give it time and your weight will start to come down.

Good man! I'm also celebrating not being officially overweight or as my ever sensitive doctor put it, " A fat ba**ard...." I ask you?
I'm gonna celebrate with pies and beer!!

Well done.

Even more impressive when you consider that BMI is designed for sedentary people. Those that exercise regularly tend to have a higher BMI due to the higher muscle mass.

Great news Banjo, well done indeed.:bravo::rolleyes::bravo:

Would you like to share the secrets of your success to help those of us on the same path? How much cycling did you put in to achieve that? I assume you worked on your diet as well? Did you use any other forms of exercise to supplement the cycling?
