If so, shall I meet you at the junction between Cumbernauld Road and Edinburgh road just after Alexandra Parade station, say around 07:00?

East Lothian I would get away with it, but Perth is a bridge too far. I'll just have to make do with going out on a club run instead of the epic cake adventure.

Are we intending to start riding at 1100 or just meeting at 1100 ? I ask because there was a fair bit of "is xxx coming or not; how long should we wait ?" last time IIRC.

I guess that, with the numbers we have, we will be leaving in groups anyway, so the racing snakes/longer distance guys can come at the end, with any late(r) arrivals. For their tardiness, they might have to pedal a bit faster !

How about meet at 11 leaving at 11:15 regardless, unless we have been informed that someone is running late? Allows a bit of flexibility given the numbers attending but with a definite departure time.
