Just a quick review of my new light.
I am a cateye fan as all my bikes have cateye lights and I have never had a problem with any of them.
My latest front light is a volt 300.It is my first usb rechargeable light.
1.Very well made and solid in construction.
2.The usb port is well protected and seals well with the captive bung.
3.The light is very bright in all modes and on high beam really lights up the unlit cycle path like a spotlight.
4.The nanoflash mode is really good on the urban part of the commute, fixed light with pulsing flash at the same time.
6.Quick release is solid as with all cateye lights.But easy to release.
7.charging light goes out when fully charged so nice and simple.
All in all an excellent light for the money £45.00 in my lbs.
Its done a week of dark early morning commutes and as yet has not needed recharging, and has maintained it's full brightness.
Hope this maybe helpful to anyone contemplating buying one.

UPDATE.First charge today since I bought it(after initial charge)Its been used every morning on flash mode and several evenings.Must say im well impressed with the length of charge.Im sure itll come down soon as I will have to light my way down a few unlit roads as the mornings darken.
