I used to have 11-26 cassettes but changed about 10 years ago to 11-28 cassettes. It was only 2 teeth too but it just made things more comfortable, another option and I don't think it's made me slower; on the contrary probably faster and a better spinner. Try it out and see if it suits your pedalling style and more importantly you like it @gavroche
