Poor sods, they have to pay people to clean it, service it and have to buy 4 huge tyres which only a trained gorilla can fit. When they crash it, they usually can't just pick it up, dust themselves off and carry on.
Were they wearing helmets? They should. A friend of mine was wearing one when he bumped his head getting into his car. Judging by the damage on the helmet, if he hadn't have been wearing one, he'd be dead by now.
Its not such a bad idea wearing crash helmets in cars, a few years ago at work, I got out of the car, realised that I had left the keys and radio on the passenger seat, so I leaned across to grab them whilst stood outside the car, but I got up a bit early and got the door frame across the back of my head, the next thing I knew I was seeing stars face down on the drivers seat slightly concussed.
What amuses me with cars is those little flashy orange light thingy mijigs they sometimes flash to indicate when they are turning and they cannot get it right most of the time. It much far simpler to extend your arm with the extended option of being able to raise the middle finger or two fingers to enhance your intentions or feelings.
