Here for rides.
Warranty is for manufacturing defects, not because of a shunt.
Sale of Goods Act is about "fit for purpose". A pair of forks that crack becuase you ride through a pothole, or that fail after a couple of years of road use, are not fit for purpose.

Took them back no problem, turns out frame and forks have a 5yr warranty. They took a pic and bianchi approved the swap.

Just need to wait a 7-10 days for the replacement to be shipped from Italy. can't fault that service!

But do check your forks people! Had bloody nightmares last night thinking about what could have happened!

That's better. 2 years makes you think that the manufacturer has little confidence in their product.
Most times I'd have thought. But that doesn't take away from the fact that a road bike should be fit for purpose.
I'd honestly say I've never gone through a pot hole on purpose, that would be a tad mad.

I remember it because it didn't look bad but had a raised small utility cover that I didn't see till the last minute and I just had to hold my line and make the bike as light as possible (breathe in)

Obviously wasn't light enough

Have you ever checked the warranty pages - I have, far too many offer only a couple of years. Pinarello will only offer just 3 years (one year extra) if you register within 10 days - crazy on a £4k Dogma frame !
