Just having a potter with my bike ahead of a nice 50 mile spin in the morning and noticed a thin fracture in my front carbon fork!

After closer inspection it went the whole way round, I removed the wheel and pushed the forks together and the crack opened like bloody PAC man!!!!!

Went a bit cold then thinking of my 19 stone hurtling down the welsh hills doing 40mph+...........

So check your forks regularly boys and girls! I almost didn't notice it.

And if anyone has seen bianchi B4P carbon forks for less tha £150 let me know

Lots of carbon forks have alloy steerer and crown, my fixed does. The high end stuff has all carbon. Deffo back to shop, 2 years is minimum EU standard for any product.

Spesh and Trek have the best warranties though.

It's alu-carbon, does that mean its just the blades that are carbon and it's split at the join?

Taken a pic but can't upload it on my iPad so will have to wait till later.

Fingers crossed on the warranty, could do without the £150 bill!!
