Is there any acetone in nail varnish?
Good question? I'm not sure I'll have to look it up.

Is there any acetone in nail varnish?
But are any of them made of carbon fibre? It's something that has been used to touch up minor scratches for a long time, I've used it on three or four bikes over the years.
But are any of them made of carbon fibre?
Hammerite is tougher !!! Even use it on my rear mech to touch up rock strikes
That had never occurred to me
Any good on cranksets too ? The Deore ones on my Inbred are in a sorry state
Probably won't hide heal rub well, but I use it on my black SRAM cranks that regularly take rock hits on the end of the crank arms.
Ever consider using crankarm boots ? They are for carbon cranks but maybe they would be good for normal ones too ?
No, not so.I'd be extremely wary about getting acetone anywhere near a critical plastic component. A single drop of acetone could be catastrophic to carbon fibre
Don't be daft, YS.No, not so.
It does absolutely nothing to carbon fibre composites.
If you don't believe me, I'll send you a jar of acetone and a piece of carbon fibre so you can experiment for yourself.
Don't be daft, YS.
EVERYTHING destroys carbon fibre, oil, water, air, sweat, sugar, looking at it too hard. And that's only a small fraction of the total.
