I need to replace my carbon calliper forks on my Van Nicholas YukonOld. forks are un-branded. Has any one used Carbon forks that will take a 28mm Tyre and mudguard.

Having researched a bit some possibilities are:
Deda Black Rain 1 1/8 Force Fork with Eyelets (Looks like these will)
SPA CYCLES Carbon Road Forks (Spa said they will)
Van Nicholas VNT Fork ADX Carbon Audax, Alloy Steerer, 1 1/8 (VN say they will)
Kinesis DC07 (Have my doubts. Fatbirds say its very tight)
CSN BlackStorm (Wont fit Ribble Cycles advised)
Ambrosio Momentum Carbon (SJS said they will with a bit of hacking of the mudguard but I have my doubts)

If any one has experience of these or others that experience and your thoughts would be most welcome.

Thanks

If you bike is a VN and VN say mudguards will fit that fork then that's where I'd go!

Based on other discussion boards I have concluded these forks will take 28mm tyres and mudguards.
1. Van Nicholas VNT Fork ADX Carbon Audax. VN confirmed they would by email.
2. Spa Carbon Forks. Spa confirmed they would. I tested this on a friends using 28mm Specialized Armadillo tyres and 35mm mudguards. They fit.
3. Deda black rain fork. Anotherboard contributor has said they fit.
4. Kinesis DC07. Marketed as a 4 season fork taking a 28mm tyre. Another board contributor has confirmed this and has had many trouble free miles.

I have now ordered the Spa forks. Thanks once again and see you up the road.
