No, I think it is a Maestro. I don't believe there was ever a hatchback version of the Montego, just saloon and estate (we had two montego estates in succession).

At one point my dad had a saloon in green and an estate in white at the same time! This was followed by a red metro then a blue metro.

We were a family that Backed Britain, no matter how rubbish the cars were.

Ah yes i meant Maestro, Montego was bigger. Maestro was arguably the spiritual successor to the Allegro!!
