Not to high jack the OPs thread but who remembers Cadburys Bar 6. To me they were nicer than KitKats but were phased out.

I used to occasionally go shopping for my aunt when I was little and I usually got 3d to spend so quite often bought a bar of Caramac. Never tried them in latter years though but I suspect like wiggydiggy says, they were nothing like the originals.

I thought Caramac was the the ferry company that Old Wheels has problems re breakdowns and time tables ⛴⛴⛴

I used to eat them occasionally, but like Dime Bars (or is it 'Daim' now?), they were just too sweet and not something to be consumed in the long - run.

Used to love caramac a kid but probably not had one for 50 years.

I'm sure there was a short time when you could get caramac chocolate digestives, or maybe I'm imagining that one.

Also seem to remember a pink version

I remember using a few gold Caramac wrappers to cover a shape of the Jules Rimet World Cup trophy (junior school project) I'd cut out of cardboard, for the 1970 World Cup finals in Mexico, in 1970.⚽
