Canyon Helmet

Hi all,

Anyone got a view on the Canyon SIERRA cycle helmet. Saw an ad for on Amazon but it seemed to be very cheap and I just wondered if that meant it was rubbish.

Reviews seem to be ok.

I have a Canyon Concord which is a fairly heavy & large helmet, not all that well-vented so it is warmer in the winter. It's not moulded in the plastic- the plastic is stuck on afterwards.

I prefer my Bell Solar Sport. Better build quality.

I've got a Canyon Sierra helmet. Got it year before last for a tenner from Go Outdoors. Fits well, most of the time I don't notice it. No problems to date with it, all straps etc still fine. The only thing i would say is that it is a bit bulky looking (but then aren't most of them!).

Tescos have some cheap helmets for £8-12

I've got a couple of Giro Transfer models - very comfy and well made - got one of the Neon Urban design ones for £15 in the sales

I have the Excel road helmet. It is the best helmet I have owned.
