I've got a CAAD 10. £900??! That's a steal!<br><br>My CAAD's proven itself to be extremely comfortable. Comfortable enough for 70 mile club runs or riding through the night on the FNRttC. The frame is surprisingly good at absorbing all the bumps in the road: the ride is considerably less harsh than my Focus Cayo. The Synapse does have a more relaxed geometry (though I've not ridden one so I can't comment on comfort). You really need to go on a lengthy test ride on both before you can decide. And it's possibly an idea to try a size down for comparison as well. Mine is the 52 cm, which is smaller than recommended, but I took a long look at the geometry and decided the smaller bike had the saddle in the better position (for me). It worked: it just fitted with little adjustment needed out the box. I just need to fit that longer stem now...<br><br>Edit: And +1 to everything Davyo says. It is a fantastic bike!<br>
