If you clean your bike as often as you should Mr Sheen will be fine

I keep all my bikes waxed, even the MTB's.
It makes it far easier to clean them as most of the gunk comes off with a quick rinse.

I have been tempted to give the bike a quick going over with Dodo juice red mist, but i thought to my self, a bit ott.

That's some good stuff! I have used that on my car and love it.

I have been known to put a couple of coats of Collonite on my Planet-X bike.
Just I bit of detailing spray on the new bike (it has a matt finish)

I could always use a bit of dodo supernatural

Actually the red mist does make it easier to clean.

Colly is good stuff, have not used it for a while as i went to dodo.

Turtlewax really works well for me

Wax is good for a deep shine and removes any stubborn marks, and is good for reducing scratch marks. Mr Sheen original is the stuff you should use regular, as it coats the bike and makes it easy to clean/dirt just rinses off.

Mr Sheen also removes the horrible brake gunge off tyre side walls

Echo the recommendations of Collinite (476s) - an application should last a whole Winter at least, it's really durable stuff.
