I checked under the crank and found the following SN number 7263.
This "Youngs of Lewisham" link above is the closest ID I found to date, especially this para: "However, their most expensive model that had hand cut curly and fleur de lys lugs, called the ‘Trophy’ cost as much as 19 guineas (£19. 19s 0d) with chrome.(see photo left) A complete bike such as the ten speed Marksman with Campag gears and Mafac brakes could be purchased for as little as £34-10-0d (see image of catalogue below)." My bike seems to mirror the parts.
Is there anywhere I can checkout the SN?

Frame & bike dates from mid 60's (second hand when I bought it in 1965). No makers badge or number markings. Wheels 25" tubeless. Would like an idea before advertising "as is" for project, or refurb with replacement wheels/clinchers if can be sourced. Thanks in advance.

Hi. If I were to hazard a guess, I would suggest Holdsworth either cyclone de-lux or whirlwind.
