Having looked at the race several times now I think that she was in the wrong position on the track, to take the bend at the speed she was going. She needed to be further out towards the outside and then swing in, she was on the inside and her momentum would naturally take her out towards the edge of the track crossing the French girls bike. If she had braked vital speed would of been lost, but the rest is now all speculation of what would of happened.

I noticed her technique is wrong she leans into the corner letting the weight off the wheels instead: she should lean the bike not her - thus placing the weight vertical on the section of the tyre that needs to be on the ground upon traversing a corner.

And of course you are perfect, more than able to corner, ride fast and represent the UK, oh hang on you are an armchair expert (and we all know what an expert is, ex is for has been and pert is a drip under pressure)
Before you start going on with such crap about how she can't corner or even spouting off eurosport rubbish, may I suggest that you find something you are good at, represent your country at the Olympics, with all the media and peer pressure that goes along with it, still show you are a world class athlete and then see how you manage, will you be in contention for the medal giving it 110% commitment knowing that you have to be on a knife's edge between win or die or will you fail without even trying??
