Can I use ordinary clear dubbin on my old Brooks saddle?

That is to fit a B66 to a traditional seatpost.


To fit to the modern type, you need a seat sandwich or more likely called a twin rail adaptor this side of the pond. SJS used to stock these but I don't see them on their site at the moment.
