Can I use a 10-speed quick link on an 8-speed chain?

All I can add is that on my eight-speed I bought a pair of nine-speed quick-links by mistake. They didn’t fit.

I haven't needed to use any of the links yet. They look fine but I don't know for sure that they sent the right size because all the labels are in Chinese!

I only had a second class stamp so it will probably be Tuesday before you get them.
