Simple solution as suggested is to get another set of same rims & cassette and put some fast 26" tyres on; Specialized Fatboys if you want real speed. But be aware that your exisiting chain will be part worn on the new cassette, so may well jump a lot. We just have summer tyres and winter tyres; but it's ME who gets lumbered with the swaps when the weather changes - !
