Stick a 1 in front of that estimate, handbuilt racing trikes are several thouand quid new.Barron was formed in 1980, so its 41 at the oldest. From what little detailmis visoble my gut call is early 80's.
Im no authority on trikes, and the market demand is somewhat limited. By somewhat I actually mean extremely. Nevertheless, its a reasonable quality frame and looks in generally good order. Put some tyres on it and a nice seat and it might be worth in the £250 range, but that's totally dependent on finding a buyer in what is a very niche market segment.
Conversely, if the seat post is seized in the frame itll be worth more broken for parts.
Bit posher than mine (and a lot lighter)Isn't @raleighnut a bit of a three wheel enthusiast?
I'm sure someone will be up for it but as @Drago says it's a very limited market and you might wait a while.
Riding them is an art in itself. I've tried and finished up in someone's garden!
I never quite got the gang of it but you have to lean in the opposite direction to what you do on a two wheeler.
Wifey has a 20'' wheel Pashley trike. She whizzes all over on it. She frightens me.
yep, the trick is to just let them move about under you, don't try and fight them.
2 tips,
Never ever put your feet down unless you're getting off
When cornering you keep all your weight on the inside pedal, totally opposite to a 2 wheeler.
