Cable end

Hi guys

Just took my front wheel off and when putting it back on the cable end bit came off (see attached pic) I have managed to get it back on but should I be concerned about this or is this common

not too concerned just give it a squeeze with a pair of needle nose pliers to tighten it a bit.

Thanks. Yep done that. Just wondered if there was anything I should be concerned about.
Didn't want to take to a shop from get conned

no they are just there to stop the end fraying if you got all the cable back in and squeezed it all should be great. Might be worth giving the other ones a squeeze as they were probably put on by the same mechanic.

Yeah I do like the bianchi. I would grt another one if something happened to that one

You can buy cable ends on fleabay for very little money. If you haven't got a spare then a dab of super glue on the end of the cable will stop it fraying.

or for those of us who hate the crimp marks but like cable ends . super glue the cable end on to the cable.

IT IS NOT OCD OK ! IT IS LIKING THINGS DONE PROPERLY .......
