C and B seen any good?

I've got the bike well lit up to be seen and have a head light attached to my helmet which is okay for lighting the dark routes. Was thinking of getting a front light from C and B seen but wondered if the 40 quid light is good quality?

The front light is the same as other stuff. But you may get a better battery if the £40 includes that.

The rear lights are in a different league. I have two and they are blooming great, but you need to spend money on good batteries, I.e. Build your own. I run two of their rear lights off my own pack I soldered, dead simple. Will charge off a magicshine and other cheap chargers, but I do run the batteries through a proper charger every couple of weeks. I take the batteries out and charge on their own.

Happy enough with mine, although it only lasted 2 months before it gave up the ghost. On a positive they sent me a new one without quibble on the day I emailed my problem. So you can count on the service wihich is worth a few quid over the chinese ebay specials and hopefully mine was just a duff, which can happen to the best of them

The 500 lumen rear light?

I don't rate it that much, rather bulky for what it is. definitely not 500 lumens, more like 180 - 200. and the mode switching is a bit meh.
Better build quality than the magic shine and cheaper than what the likes of hope, exposure and dinotte have to offer but it doesn't quite match the final product. Good value but if that's in a different league then I don't know what Hope, exposure and dinotte are in :O

The C&B light is bloody brilliant for £30 and 200 lumen out the back is more than enough ! There is just a huge pool of red light !
