I suspect this is a P&L related thing. As I never go in there I didn't see it either. Although Bonj on horse riding is one of the funniest things ever.

In which case, I suggest you pop along to P&L this very evening! And LLB hasn't even joined in yet...

Well, that's a bit more interesting. What kind of laminate was it?

Floordreams by Krono extra strong wood effect, I finished the lounge, next weekend will be the downstairs hallway and toilet. All the little angles and corners will be hell:biggrin:

All the same finish or are you varying a dark oak with a lighter pine?

Was he arguing that riding a horse doesn't count as exercise?

Sorry, hadn't actually read it until now. It's the thread he was first fingered in. He does mention how dangerous it is riding a horse and quotes Christopher Reeve and Chris Tate out of Emmerdale as examples. Stand up stuff.

Where's Cunobelin to tell us horse riders shouldn't wear helmets?

....because drinking beer is more dangerous.

Click stuff, the mess I could make with glue thrown in would be scary, all one colour, mid oak. Looks pretty good now but mid afternoon I was feeling pretty low and wishing I hadn't started:biggrin: Made a rubbish job of the last run and kitchen doorway with strip between kitchen and lounge laminate. That run and the faffy cut around the kitchen door frame will need redoing, only 4 boards............but not tonightxx(

it's not that it doesn't COUNT as exercise, chuffy - that's like women that think that nicking someone else's chips doesn't COUNT as any calories - it's that it ISN'T exercise.
THE HORSE DOES THE WORK
when will you learn...
contrast that to cycling where the bike doesn't supply any energy largely on account of the fact that it doesn't eat hay and apples.
chemical energy in => converted to kinetic energy. basic laws of chemistry.
