Buying wire-beaded tyres online - how are they packaged?

Thanks all . What about CRC? Have any of you ordered wire-beaded tyres from them? I'll be placing a new CRC order shortly, and thought I might add a pair of Marathon Plus tyres (for my commuter bike) to the list.

Mine came in a big box.

And in typical CRC style, i could have held around 30 of them

Only tyres I have had from CRC game in a black bag, unfolded, mind you they were ice tyres, think they are impossible to fold! The marathon pluses I have had from Wiggle came in a big box

i ordered some from planet x and some came in a box whilst the next lot came in a bag .

i find my lbs are more than happy to match on line tyre prices which save the untwisting etc etc

Not sure I'd be doing my LBS a favour if I asked them to do that. I've just ordered a pair of Marathon Plus tyres from CRC, and they were $37 each, and my LBS charged me $60 each last time I bought these tyres from them. My postage was free for this order, too, as I had enough in my order list apart from the tyres. So I'll find out shortly how the tyres get packaged.

I got Michelin pro race 4's service course (folding) tyres from wiggle. They were sent in the retail Michelin packaging which is a small cardboard box with the tyre rolled up inside it.
