I have had a pair come unfolded in a big bag, and a pair triple folded in a small bag.

I guess it might depend if they are mountain bike tyres or easier to fold road bike tyres.

I've posted this before, but I ordered Marathon Plus tyres from wiggle and they folded them in a sort of doubled over figure of eight which left an annoying kink in the tyre that played havoc with my ocd for such things. I've since ordered all my tyres from bike-discount.de who tend to be a lot cheaper anyway and ship them in a huge box.

Odd. Ordered quite a few sets of tires from Wiggle now and all came in a large flat box, unfolded.

Thanks all  . What about CRC? Have any of you ordered wire-beaded tyres from them? I'll be placing a new CRC order shortly, and thought I might add a pair of Marathon Plus tyres (for my commuter bike) to the list.

You might be better off with folders - they are lighter, easier to post and are as secure as wire beads.

The downside is they are a bit more expensive.
