I get mine like that, well, they are the ones the supermarket won't take because they have ridged shells, or are too big. £1.50 for a dozen extra large, free range, living in a field near my friend's house - and boy, are they big! Last lot, the box wouldn't shut, they were so large.

Longers, there's your answer! The checkout op. is looking for corrugated eggs. No wonder they are galvanised into action at the prospect of finding one.

I take my egg boxes to the greengrocer's, and put the eggs in the box myself. There is a picture on the wall of the Hens etc in their field, and there is a date that they were collected from the hen's. If you drop some while you are putting them in the box, it makes an awful mess. :biggrin::biggrin:
