Or more specifically, how do you transfer registration of the device from the original to the new owner?
I am looking at buying a multi sport watch, (920XT) & I can't find any real info. Has anyone done it?

I bought a 705 from a fellow CCer. He de-registered it at his end so I could officially register it as mine.

Just needs a bit of cooperation :okay:

When my Garmin 520 (and my bike) was stolen, I sent Garmin an email asking them if they'd keep an eye on Garmin Connect for anyone using it and they told me to get stuffed.

 Customer service eh?

I love my Garmin but through past experience know the customer service is useless, if if you need help put in down on paper put in a bottle and throw it into the sea , you have as much chance of resolving it as contacting Garmin Customer Services.

If they have left data on it, see where they live, when they are out regularly, then nip round and see if they have anything worth nicking
