I went into my LBS having a look at a couple of bikes I'm interested in. I was told by the store assisstant that it's coming to the end of their 2010 season, and will in 4 weeks time be getting the 2011 stock in. Dilema do I go for one of the bikes now a 2010 or wait the four weeks? also I was informed that some of the bikes had risen in price by a £100!!!
Seeing that quite alot of LBS etc seem to discount the bikes and this store seems one of them, I'm unsure wether to buy now or wait. Four weeks is not a long time to wait or I'm I running the risk of having to paymore just for a different colour as the speck doesn't seem to change that much. I do know some say it's a decission only I can make, but what's the views of others whom may have been in the same situation?

I bought my bike last year as the 09/10 change over was happening. As I recall there really wan't a great deal of difference between '09 and '10 models. I ended up with a '10 model only because all the suitable '09s had sold out and this particular bike was the first suitable price/spec to become available in the new models.

In short, if there's a deal to be had by buying last years clearance stock then that's what I'd be doing.

Shop around ,you should get a decent discount or some extras thrown in on a this years model. Definitely not worth paying more for a slightly different paint job.
