There are plenty of benefits of cycling that have nothing to do with weight. It's convenient, fun, healthy, better for the environment and it's all those things weather or not you lose weight. If he's going to get the most benefit from cycling he'll need to combine it with a revision of his diet. If he's up for this no reason why he shouldn't give it a go.
Of course there are but I said 'most benefit' if you read my post. He'll also find it easier and more enjoyable and get more benefit. There are plenty of benefits of cycling that have nothing to do with weight. Link for OP?Over on this side of the pond, most fellows about 6'7" go to this fellow, does some nice custom work, I don't know about shipping to the U.K..
We also have some custom builders in the UK but the OP was talking about something 'cheapish' so might be out of court.Over on this side of the pond, most fellows about 6'7" go to this fellow, does some nice custom work, I don't know about shipping to the U.K..
This fellow may be a bit cheaper. Although our friends at Schwinn made the Traveler and the World Sport in some huge frames. Too big for me at 6'4". I believe I had one that was 27", or 68.58 cm. That was probably a 1984 model. We also have some custom builders in the UK but the OP was talking about something 'cheapish' so might be out of court.
