For your brakes, get rid of the levers, just have a block of wood or metal attached to the end of the cable, and when you need to brake pull this, have one for the front and the back, and you will look cool with this new system

There was a youtube vid of a bloke who rode brakeless single speed. Used his foot on the back wheel to stop. Can't find it now though. Nutter.

I'll think about it some more, but it's looking like I'll go for the mutant bullhorn look, ie: bar end shifters, and those second levers you posted. Bars have internal cable routing so might be able to save a tiny bit of dignity. Cheers for the suggestions
