Yeah looked it up. I am enjoying this forums friends. You guys are more responsive than bikeforums here in US.

Bike prices here in US are crazy high this year due to shortage of bikes. I use Bike Blue Book Value as a guideline for negotiating the price. It is usually $100 more than that.

2008 Giant TCRc full carbon road bike with flat bar for $700 USD

The above bike is for sale in my local FB marketplace. The seller is willing to sell it for $700 USD. He has already converted it to a flat bar bike. Size is small (5' 4" to 5' 7"). My wife is 5' 3". Would this bike be a better option for her? When there is a range of height for a specific size, what adjustment would a typical fitter do for a specific person? Obviously seating post height change and may be moving the seat closer towards the front?

The TCR has quite aggressive geometry, lower than the Defy. Don’t buy this bike without your wife having a decent ride on it (at least 30 minutes).

Friends - I took your advice seriously and got my wife a 2016 Trek FX 7.4 WSD Hyrbrid bike. It is pretty solid and rides like a dream. Thank you all.

I received the Giant Defy frame from eBay this week. It weights next to nothing

Good for you @rochesterboy . There’s a lot more to getting a dream like ride than having the lightest possible bike.
