depends on what you call a touring tyre though doesnt it ? all because your touring doesnt mean you have to ride leaden tyres and having run durano plus which are touted as a fast version of marathons i wasnt impressed by their protection either

Cheers all. Went for the Contis in the end but upon arrival / fitment they turned out to be woefully undersize - as per this thread.

They went back and I fell back on the other popular suggesting in this thread - Schwalbe Delta Cruisers with K-guard, which I got for a decent price off ebay.

As documented in my Fuji thread, I now have one of these fitted to the front and other than it coming up irritatingly undersize on the depth at around 28.5mm (width is 31.5mm, stated size is 700x32c) all seems pretty decent
