so i'm going to vow publicly on the forum, to take a least a minute off of that time in the champs next year, genuinely p'eed off and dissapointed with myself

Any other results? My son rode out to watch (he's a student but he's too big for hill climbs - came 26th in 2008 and hasn't bothered since).

thats me setting off, before the comical levels of pain had set in should have a good gurning shot from near the finish later on

@ Big T i think the winning time was 5.39 or something silly, and there were ~30 riders under 7 minutes; will post a link to the full results when they are up if you like?

The winner Matt Pilkington also finished 11th at the National Hillclimb yesterday.

I finished 53rd, 62 seconds behind Dan Fleeman.

Congratulations both. When young, you have to get up hills. When 'more experienced' you're already over them!
