Saddle pitch is critical, particularly with a Brooks. You want the nose to be exactly the same level as the back. Anything else can have you rolling forward, or back, in your shorts with all sorts of chafing and numbness problems resulting.

This is where I have a problem with the B66 on my Raleigh. It has a slightly upward tilt at the front which starts to get uncomfortable after about 8-10 miles but the next spline down has it too low at the front and I slide forward on it. Any ideas?

The sliding forwards symptom goes after a few weeks of use. I had exactly the same problem when I first got my Brooks.

Does anyone know if the brown that they do the B17N in, is a shitty brown or a nice brown? I see on SJS they do it in the brown but not the honey. So is the brown abit like the honey, or should i just go for the B17 in honey instead?

It's a rather rich fairly dark brown. The honey is quite a bit lighter (at least when new). The pictures on the BROOKS site are reasonably accurate.
