Brompton replacement of main frame hinge pin ?

Hello. My Brompton main frame hinge pin is worn, probably from the previous rider not being able to tighten the clamp fully causing wear. Anyway, it's not expensive to replace except I can only see shops in London that can replace the pin. Anyone know of a shop in the North East that can do this, especially Gateshead or Newcastle or Sunderland? Cheers!

Thanks for that, I'll try phoning round. I was hoping someone might have experience of a good shop... I don't really want someone doing thos surgery who hasn't done dozens before (as would be the case in London) 👍

Slightly confused by your post. The Brompton has a seat clamp sleeve and a swivel pin. The seat post has the clamp. I have posts elsewhere on doing the job oneself. Both my repair jobs have lasted 2 years.
