I would agree that the NHS physio is next to useless. Unfortunately they are on a time limit for each patient and cannot give them the time and treatment they need. I had no hands on treatment from the NHS physio, it was all t.e.n.s machine and a few exercises. I basically wasted a year by not having any effective physio.
I have just started working with a physio that was recommended to me by a couple of friends. The physio at the company that I have also works at British cycling, so she has a lot of experience with cycling problems. So far, so good, I have had a greater improvement in 2 weeks than I did in the 18 months previous.
keep going and if you think the physio is not working, mention it to your current physio, or get a second opinion. At the end of the day, it is you that is suffering, not them.
